(no subject)
Well, I've just completed recording "Concrete Walls (To Concert Halls)," the final song on the record.
Wow... I mean, it's not really all that I wanted it to be, but taking in consideration the fact that I don't have any guitar effects and I'm recording this in my basement with a free trial version of a computer program, I'm pretty happy with it.
It isn't as epic as I thought it would be, but there's nothing I can do about with what I've got to work with.
Overall, I'm happy with it. And it's long O_O 6:36. Most of the time I'm lucky to get a three minute song. Woohoo. heh.
Now I have four songs completed... yaaay! And I have two more that are totally written but not yet recorded. I might work on them today, sans-bass, since I can't drag the 40 lb amp down my stairs (I'm a wimp, and paranoid about my knee). But I might lay down the guitar and vox.
Anyway, I'm not gonna let you listen to this one, because I want it to be a surprise.
But I will tell you one line, because it's my favorite thing I've written: "You're looking up to Courtney Love, sans-drugs"
Haha, don't ask me why I love it so much XD I just do... hahahahaha, it makes me laugh.
ANYWAY I love you guys. I now have 14:41 worth of original music. Is that really all? Well that's disheartening... bleh.
Love,
Rock
